The "Living Forward" Five-Step process:
During this program, videos and downloadable exercises (and weekly coaching calls with me if you opt for the Group Program) will guide you through a series of steps to bridge the gap between the life you're living and the one of you dream of -- to design your "Third Act"
- Where you stand now & Letting Go: We'll kick off with your Life Assessment & several foundational exercises around your Passions, Talents & Values and your Empowering & Limiting beliefs, in order to start removing some of the emotional "blocks" that my be holding you back.
- Your Life Vision: You'll go through my Blue Sky Life Vision process to look at each of the eleven different dimensions of your life; including your personal life, health & wellness, career or other passionate ventures, relationships, finances and general lifestyle. You'll then create a unified Vision document for your ideal life.
- Looking Back & Inside: Self-Exploration to Clarify your "Why" and your Purpose: You'll do deep dives to reflect on your life story; the experiences, transitions, aha moments and threads that run through your life from childhood until today. You'll identify your core values and your life goals.
- Designing your Third Act - Exploring the Possibilities: In this culminating and exciting step, you will build on all of the thinking and work so far in the workshop. You'll design your path forward; the plans and a process for adjusting them along the way.
- Living Forward - Building your Action Plan to make your "Third Act" vision a reality: I will guide you to focus on several key areas you'd like to explore and build a 12-Week Plan. Following the Six-Week Workshop, you will have three months of followup for momentum and accountability support.
Curriculum:
Preparation: Before the workshop starts, you'll do a Life Assessment as well as two foundational exercises "Your Passions, Talents & Values" and "Empowering & Limiting Beliefs"
Kick-Off Call: We'll gather on Zoom to discuss your intentions for the six-week process, how to get the most of out of the experience and frame your mindset for the course. If you're part of the group session, this is your first introduction to fellow-attendees.
Week l: Blue Sky Life Visioning - Part 1: Explore eight dimensions of your personal life & relationships, develop individual vision statements, your "why" and potential strategies for each, to make your vision a reality.
Week 2: Blue Sky Life Visioning - Part 2: Develop Vision Statements, your "why" and potential strategies to make your vision a reality for each of the remaining three categories: your work or passionate ventures, your finances and your lifestyle.
Week 3: Your Integrated Life Vision: Craft a unified Life Vision document from the eleven categories you've explored over the previous weeks through powerful guided visualization and mind-mapping processes.
Week 4: Understanding your Life's Threads, Core Values and Goals: Preparing to design your alternative "Third Act" life plans, you'll do illuminating Life Story and other planning exercises.
Week 5: Expanding your Vision. Exploring Alternative "FIve-Year Quest Plans". Create three variations of your life plans plans to generate new ideas as well as to explore how different potential endeavors can weave together for "whole life" plan.
Week 6: Living Forward Planning Goals & Strategies. Refine your short and long term goals, strategies a 12-Week action plan to realize your vision across each part of your life. Learn to master transition, take action and maintain positive energy to live your "wild and precious third act."
- The Group Workshop option also includes Followup support:
Three Months of Group Coaching Calls and complimentary membership in the 333 Collective: These sessions will help you stay focussed, take action steps, ands maintain momentum. The group discussions will also support you to adjust your direction through life's inevitable disruptions, to make your vision a reality,
Ongoing Group or Private Coaching is also an option.
My "Why":
After years of dancing on the edges of my passions, three coinciding life disruptions as I approached sixty served as my life's most profound "aha" moment. In 2018, I experienced a critical illness, was forced to shut down a business venture I had given my heart and soul to for the previous four years as I prepared to be an empty-nester.
In the midst of and in spite of the pain, fear and uncertainty at this time, I gained lucid perspective around what brings me true joy and meaning, and shifted direction for my "third act".
It was this clarity that got me back in touch with my dreams, inspired me to make a number of life changes and led to the launch my new business; Third Act Quest, to support, inspire and connect women as they envision and design their own "third act" of life.
I unearthed what had been calling me all along. Now, I couldn't imagine doing anything else.
This is your time to embrace the opportunity to live forward — to explore your options and find your path.
